چکیده
The present work reports on the use of a hybrid blend biopolymers as matrix for lipase immobilization. (Hydroxypropyl)methyl cellulose (HPMC) and Chitosan (CS) were combined in order to formulate film which Mucor miehei was immobilized. biocatalyst studied upon model reaction propyl laurate synthesis. system examined terms its capability provide an appropriate environment where will maintain activity. ratio polymers used HPMC:CS=2:1 proved form most promising matrix. Increasing amount immobilized enzyme appears improve yield indicating, however, mass transfer limitations. Apparent activation energy calculated input showed that ultra-sonication accelerated initial rate reaction. Different solvents tested with isooctane being effective. enzyme-containing remarkable reusability, since it can be up 35 times without loss Finally, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) performed observe morphology films. HPMC/CS exhibits nanostructure unique characteristic length roughness 42.8 nm while presence smoothens decreases 5.5 nm.

Study on Different Molecular Weights of Chitosan as an Immobilization Matrix for a Glucose Biosensor
Two chitosan samples (medium molecular weight (MMCHI) and low molecular weight (LMCHI)) were investigated as an enzyme immobilization matrix for the fabrication of a glucose biosensor. Chitosan membranes prepared from acetic acid were flexible, transparent, smooth and quick-drying. The FTIR spectra showed the existence of intermolecular interactions between chitosan and glucose oxidase (GOD). H...
متن کاملSynthesis and Characteristics of Mesoporous Sol-gels for Lipase Immobilization
Enzyme cost is the major problem for industrial scale application. Immobilization is a promising approach to moderate the enzyme cost factor and increase its stability and activity. In this study, sol-gel method was used to prepare the immobilization platform and entrapped lipase as one of the most used enzyme in dairy processing, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Lipase from Candida rug...
متن کاملGum Tragacanth Gels as a New Supporting Matrix for Immobilization of Whole-Cell
We introduce a new smooth, non-toxic, biocompatible method for cross-linking of gum tragacanth (GT), a polysaccharide of natural origin, in order to serve as a new supporting matrix for immobilization systems. The modified gum is used as a matrix for the catalysis of the conversion of benzyl penicillin to 6-aminopenicillanic acid (6-APA) by means of Escherichia coli ATCC11105 with penicill...
متن کاملOptimization of Lipase Immobilization
Pseudomonas aeruginosa BBRC-10036 was used for lipase production. The organism secreted the enzyme extracellulary. In order to purify the enzyme, precipitation was done first, and then this lipase has been purified by Ion exchange Chromatography leading to 2.3-fold purification and 11.47% recovery. Lipase from P.aeruginosa was entrapped into Ca-alginate gel beads and effect of independent varia...
متن کاملImmobilization and Catalytic Properties of Lipase on Chitosan for Hydrolysis and Esterification Reactions
The objective of this study was to evaluate the immobilization of lipase on a chitosan support by physical adsorption, aiming at its application in hydrolytic and synthetic reactions. Two types of chitosan (flakes and porous) were used for immobilizing lipase from a microbial source (Candida rugosa) and animal cells (porcine pancreas). The best results for recovery of total activity after immob...
